James Martin Cookware

James Martin and Wahl UK have collaborated to bring out an exciting range of kitchen appliances.  This quality range of products with the latest technology is available online at Argos, Sainsbury and at the Wahl Store.

The brief for Redwood Advertising was to:

  • Establish a connection between James and the product
  • Underline his endorsement of the product and brand

With that in mind, we have developed a concept that sees James identifying typical problems that people tell him they encounter in the Kitchen, then identify with Wahl/James Martin product as the solution.

The core idea is packaged and nuanced with James’s own unique performance and sense of humour.  Once filmed, and ready for broadcast it was met with perfect timing as James was returning to our screens on Saturday morning with a new cookery show.  Airtime schedules were carefully synchronised around the start middle and end breaks each Saturday to show off the cookware range to the already compelling James Fans.
